Description
A dragon lands on top of a slim tower pillar and opens its wings to their full span, the long neck stretched forward and the tail hanging down the side. The wing membranes are thin stainless steel with forged ribs, tinted in bronze and copper.
The pillar has a textured surface like rough masonry and stands on a wide pyramid foot, which keeps the composition stable. Everything is forged by hand, and the colours are heat tints rather than paint.
Because the wings spread so wide, the piece fills a wall or a corner on its own. If you like dragons on towers, compare it with the dragon Smaug on the tower and the other stainless steel dragon sculptures.
