Shipping and lead time

Shipping for this piece is quoted individually. After you order, we email you the shipping cost and delivery time before anything ships.

Most of our sculptures are made to order. Production usually takes 30 to 60 days and occasionally longer: the exact lead time depends on the type and size of the piece and on our workshop schedule at the time of your order. If you need the sculpture by a certain date, ask us before you order and we will confirm the lead time for this piece. Some pieces are in stock and ready to ship. Import duties and taxes in your country are paid by the buyer.

Description

The faun, the mysterious guardian of the labyrinth, stands upright with one hand raised and long, thin fingers spread. Huge curled horns frame the narrow face, and the body is covered with a texture like old bark. The legs bend backwards like a goat’s and end in hooves.

The sculpture is forged and welded by hand from stainless steel, so it does not rust and can stay outdoors all year. In daylight it shows warm bronze and gold tones, while in shade it turns dark and almost black, which suits this enigmatic character perfectly. At about 160 cm (5 ft 3 in) it is close to human height.

An unforgettable piece for a garden path, a hallway or a fan of dark fairy tales. Smaller mischief-makers are our horned imps; all figures and characters are in one place.
