Shipping and lead time

Production usually takes 30 to 60 days and occasionally longer: the exact lead time depends on the type and size of the piece and on our workshop schedule at the time of your order. If you need the sculpture by a certain date, ask us before you order and we will confirm the lead time for this piece. Some pieces are in stock and ready to ship. Import duties and taxes in your country are paid by the buyer.

Description

Two birds, one sitting upright and one leaning forward with its beak open, as if calling to the other. Their bodies are covered with small overlapping feathers cut from stainless steel, and each feather has been heated until it turned gold, violet or steel blue.

In the photos the birds sit on an old tree stump, gripping the wood with their forged feet. Without paint, the colours depend only on the heat treatment and keep their shine outdoors.
